HKT's graphic designer Caitlin Grant has been volunteering design skills to Common Boston, an AIA 150 initiative supported by the BSA. Common Boston is currently preparing for Common Boston 07, a citywide architecture and design festival, June 8–10, 2007. As part of “Blueprint for America,” the AIA’s 150th anniversary celebration program, Common Boston is organizing a series of public events, including community tours, public discussions, and “open buildings” focusing on the city’s architecture and how it relates to the community as a whole. Common Boston’s mission is to engage residents and community members in the built environment, especially walkable areas around rapid transit hubs throughout the city.

Caitlin's design work includes promotional materials such as a brochure and postcards for the events. Look for her volunteering the weekend of the festival!
