It's official! Andrea Sonan is a US Citizen. She is originally from Lima, Peru, and came to America six years ago.
A civics test is required in order to become an official US Citizen, completed before a Citizenship and Immigration Services officer. The questions are usually selected from a list of 100 sample questions that prospective citizens can look at ahead of the interview (though the examiner is not limited to those questions). Some are easy, some are not.
We are proud to say that Andrea has passed with flying colors and is now an official US Citizen. She is currently studying for her licensing exams, and hopes to be registered by the end of 2007.
