Massachusetts Bay Community College
Wellesley Hills, MA
The main campus buildings are clustered on a hilltop site and date variously from 1919, 1951, and 1964. The college was experiencing a space shortage and could not flexibly accommodate the needs of its diverse, technology-oriented student population. HKT completed a Master Plan for the campus involving a conditions analysis and current use summary for all spaces, and a phased ten-year plan for upgrades and conversion of existing facilities. New facilities addressed specialized needs such as high tech/distance learning classrooms, a library/computer center, and a fitness center.
